Start with one thing
You do not need a perfect message to ask for help. Start with one thing that would make today easier. A meal, a ride, or a little company is enough to put into words.
If someone has offered to help, you can give them a clear idea. Say what you need, when you need it, and any preference that matters to you. You can keep the message short.
Choose someone you trust with the request. Share only the details you want them to have. You do not need to explain your health history to ask for a meal or help with a chore.
